Well who doesn't have any extra pecans from thanksgiving ? I bet many , so today I decided to make some French Toast using some farm eggs . I think the trick for a good French toast is the bread , yes the bread , we got this amazing bread in Panera. Sometimes I made my own bread , but today I feel lazy to make some bread lol 

 

I added some toasted pecan with manjar blanco sauce on the side . It was a dessert . It felt like desser for breakfast after a long weekend . It was delicious.!!!

Cake pops for my Daughter 's Birthday

I created a new tradition at home without thinking , every birthday I end up making cake pops I love it !!! It's time consuming but when you see those happy faces my heart melts , my oldest daughter for some reason she likes mustaches. I don't know why ? How ? She loves it . She got t shirts , pens and drawings . We were in Michaels looking for white chocolate and those mustaches were staring us lol  . OMG I wish I could take a picture , I just said " Go ahead !! . Her favorite color blue , so that's how these cake pops got her personality. I love you baby Girl . I cannot believe she is 10 . 

Apple Crisp with Apple roses

Last week I was the chef of the day , it's part of our program for service day . My menu was based on New England . I enjoy working with my classmates , however my favorite part was dessert . My chef and I decided to make some apple crips . I mentioned I saw a video about those Apple roses , one day before we made one , it was beautiful little big , therefore I made the roses smaller . It was a good experience 40 roses on October 25 to not forget.

So proud my first stuffed chicken legs with ham .

Today, I decided to go to my culinary book pages , I saw a stuffed chicken legs recipe mmmmmm . How can you stuff a chicken leg ? Is that possible ? I read the method ,kind of challenging .  I said to myself I have to do it !!!  It was a nice experience . Probably I could have done better if my 3 daughters don't stop asking me what I was doing or asking me for candy , juice , change the x box game and so on I think I did ok . I cannot wait for my husband to try it .

My Culinary School Experience

I started this year with great news , after taking several classes such as sanitation , menu design , cost control and so on, finally I was able to take some culinary skills classes . It was an amazing experience, every week I learned something new, with new people and my spectacular Chef . I will totally miss her , all her knowledge , charisma and dedication will stay with me forever ; You cannot take the feeling and experience away from your heart . I already miss her and I will never forget her words and quote " I want all of you succeed ". These are some pictures of this experience
